This section applies only to the Text2Design → Figma plugin. The currently published Community plugin imports a Text2Design export only after you explicitly choose a file, drop a file into the plugin, paste JSON, or authorize a clipboard read for the current run. That manual importer does not use a Text2Design backend, require sign-in or an API key, or transmit Figma-derived data to Text2Design. It does not persist export data outside of the editable Figma nodes it creates on the current page.
To render content already specified in an export, the plugin may request image data from images.unsplash.com and i.pravatar.cc, and SVG icon data from api.iconify.design. These requests are limited to those domains; the plugin does not request other external services.
A connected workspace is planned for a later plugin release. If you choose to use it, you will connect your Text2Design account with a one-time verification code, then explicitly choose Analyze selected before any Figma-derived content is sent. The connected workflow sends only those selected layers and their linked design metadata to build a workspace-specific design context; it does not send your Figma file key or expose your Text2Design session token to the plugin interface.
That selected context, its inferred design-system summary, and the prompt/run data needed to create a requested draft are stored for the connected workspace until you choose Forget workspace memory. Forgetting permanently erases that saved workspace context and non-billing draft data; it cannot remove layers already created in Figma. We retain only the minimal credit-transaction audit information needed to account for a completed or refunded action.
